Lily Rabe
Lily Rabe is an American actor from America. Her various roles on the FX horror series American Horror Story (2011-2021) are her most well-known. As Portia in the Broadway production of The Merchant of Venice she was nominated to the Tony Award for Best Actress. Film credits include What Just Happened (2008), All Good Things (2010) and Pawn Sacrifice (2014), Miss Stevens (2016), Golden Exits (2017), Vice (2018), Fractured (2019) and The Tender Bar (2021). Rabe was also part of the TV series The Whispers (2015). The Undoing (2021), The Underground Railroad (2021), The First Lady (2022) Her screen debut came in 2001 alongside Jill Clayburgh, her mother. Her stage debut, again opposite her mother, at the Gloucester Stage Company in Massachusetts. She was in two one-act shows: Speaking Well of the Dead by Israel Horovitz as well as The Crazy Girl by Frank Pugliese. The roles allowed her to award her an Equity Card. [9] She appeared in Proof which was a play written by David Auburn, at the Gloucester Stage Company in July 2003. The same year, she appeared in the film Mona Lisa Smile. After graduating, she moved back home to New York. Deirdre starred in White Jesus from September 29 through October 2, 2004, one of the many one-act plays performed by The Democracy Project at The Naked Angels Theater Company.
