Maria Elena Bello
Maria Elena Bello (born April 18 1967) is an American actress, producer, and writer. Her film credits include Permanent Midnight (1998), Payback (1999), Coyote Ugly (2000), The Cooler (2003), A History of Violence (2005), The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor (2008), Grown Ups (2010), Prisoners (2013), and Lights Out (2016). Bello was a television star as Dr. Anna Del Amico, a medical drama that aired from 1997 to 1998. She also played Michelle McBride on Goliath's first season in 2016 and as Special Agent Jacqueline Sloane on NCIS, where she served as the lead agent. Bello was born in Norristown to Kathy Bello and Joe Bello. She studied political sciences at Villanova University. Bello studied acting in New York and continued to develop her talents after graduating. Bello has a son Jackson with her ex-boyfriend Dan McDermott. In November 2013 Bello wrote about her former partner Clare Munn's same-sex relationship. She released a book titled Whatever...Love Is Loving: Examining the labels we give to ourselves (Dey Street Books - April 28, 2015).
